De Strandpost is a basic, non-modernised summer cottage for guests who mainly value a great location, a private fenced garden and being close to the beach and village centre.
The cottage is less than a 5-minute walk from the beach, while the charming centre of Callantsoog is also within easy walking distance. A lovely place for guests who enjoy staying close to everything and for whom luxury is less important.
De Strandpost has a simple, old-fashioned interior and has not been modernised. The technical facilities also reflect the simple and older character of the summer cottage. For example, the house is heated by an old-fashioned gas heater, and the hot water is not supplied by a modern central heating system.
De Strandpost is particularly suitable for guests who deliberately choose a simple summer cottage and do not expect a modern interior, luxurious finish or modern technical facilities.
Your dog is also very welcome at De Strandpost. The fully fenced garden is a great advantage, allowing you to enjoy a holiday on the coast together. From the cottage, you can easily head out for a walk through Callantsoog or towards the beach.
One of the biggest advantages of De Strandpost is its location. From the summer cottage, you can walk to the beach of Callantsoog in just a few minutes, perfect for a long beach walk, a day by the sea or a refreshing swim.
The charming village centre is also within walking distance, with various restaurants and cafés, shops and terraces. Your accommodation may be simple, but you will be staying right in one of North Holland's loveliest coastal villages.
De Strandpost is a good choice if you are looking for a simple and affordable summer cottage in a great location in Callantsoog. If a modern interior, luxurious finish and modern comforts are important to you, this is probably not the most suitable accommodation for you.
However, if you are looking for a simple, cosy and old-fashioned summer cottage with a fenced garden, where the location close to the beach and village centre matters most, De Strandpost can be a lovely base for your holiday on the coast.

Die Lage ist perfekt. Das Haus für 2 Personen mit 1 Hund schon ziemlich beengt. Das Schlafzimmer winzig und ein Luftentfeuchter stand unter dem Bett. Die Matratzen hatten unterschiedliche Höhen. Im Kinderzimmer standen die Koffer und somit war der Raum auch voll. Der Kleiderschrank ebenfalls ziemlich klein stand der Staubsauger und somit gar kein Platz mehr darin. Das Badezimmer.... kaum Wasserdruck und die Wärme Regulierung absolut nicht möglich. Das ganze Badezimmer steht unter Wasser nach dem Duschen. In der Küche haben wir nur den Kühlschrank, die Kaffeemaschine , Teller ,Besteck und Tassen benutzt. Zum Spühlen gab es das gleiche Problem mit dem Wasserdruck und der Regulierung der Temperatur. Ein Uralter Gas Durchlauferhitzer hängt in der Küche. Der Garten ist nicht komplett eingezäunt. Wir werden wieder nach Callantsoog kommen aber nicht mehr in dieses Haus
